VineGary Turkey

This is one of Mom’s new signature dishes, and Gary loves it so much that we dubbed it VineGary Turkey. (That, and it has a vinegar brine.)

  • 6 Lb Turkey breast
  • 2 Tbl salt
  • 2 Tbl black pepper
  • 1 Tbl cajun seasoning
  • 1 Cup cider vinegar
  • 1 Oven bag


  • Preheat oven to 325′
  • Mix brine ingredients in a bowl
  • Place thawed turkey breast in a prepared oven bag and then in a baking pan
  • Pour brine in and close the bag
  • Bake for 4 hours
  • Shred with 2 forks
  • Pour brine over meat through a sieve
